Joe & Mac Returns is Data East’s final installment to the Joe & Mac Series created by Data East in 1994. For this sequel, from the normal sideways scrolling beat em’ up type genre, Data East chose to eschew the former’s gameplay and create a single-screen platform. Defeat all your enemies and save the girl. G-mode currently obtains the intellectual rights to Joe & Mac Returns.
