G-mode Brings the Retro Classic Data East Classic to the App Store Tokyo, Japan. - September 10, 2009 - The puzzle game of puzzle games Magical Drop has finally made its way to the Apple’s App Store with the implementation of the touch screen UI, this game will become as hectic as ever as you try to swipe your way to victory. G-mode is proud to announce today the worldwide availability of Magical Drop Touch for $2.99 through Apple’s App Store.

This fun action puzzler is the first step/installment of G-mode’s Data East Intellectual Property and looks to rebuild Data East from what it used to be. “We are carefully taking the appropriate steps to mark our place in the open mobile platform and what better title than Magical Drop” said Apple Games Manager for G-mode Kiyotaka Takagi. “This newly developed Magical Drop that’s designed specifically for the touch panel will bring back good memories of the hectic, fun, adrenaline rush feel that Magical Drop had during its run in the 90’s”

In Magical Drop Touch, players can choose up to 6 characters, Fool, Justice, Star, Chariot, World, Devil with World being the last boss.

- Battle Mode offers 5 Difficulty Settings
- Endless Mode levels 1-100

Magical Drop Touch has no control pad and the game is completely a swiped based game where you swipe down to pick up balls and swipe up to throw them back up to create chains to fully utilize all of the iPhone features.
