G-Mode Co. Ltd. to Bring Classic Data East Arcade Titles to Next Billion Consumers

Zeebo’s 3G Wireless Digital Distribution Enables Monetization of “Virtualized” Titles

SAN DIEGO – March 9, 2010 – Zeebo, Inc. today announced Tokyo-based G-Mode Co Ltd., is planning to launch several “virtualized” titles on the Zeebo system. Zeebo, Inc. is the maker of the Zeebo 3G-connected digital gaming, entertainment and education platform. The system was developed exclusively for emerging global markets. Caveman Ninja, Spinmaster and Street Slam will soon be available for purchase and download by Zeebo customers in Brazil and Mexico where the system is currently selling. G-Mode will bring additional games to Zeebo later this year including Super Burger Time, Magical Drop III, Karnov’s Revenge, and Wizard of Fire.

“It is exciting to see such a successful Japanese publisher like G-Mode offer these popular Data East arcade titles to consumers in emerging markets via the Zeebo system,” said Mike Yuen, senior vice president of global content and services, Zeebo, Inc. “Zeebo offers G-Mode and other publishers the ability to market and monetize their ‘virtualized’ titles commercially, a model that was previously impossible due to rampant piracy and no digital distribution pipe to work with.”

“We are very excited about the Zeebo system and to see Data East Classic Titles as part of its library for consumers in emerging markets,” said Takeshi Miyaji, president of G-mode. “We look forward in bringing most of the Data East Classics Catalogue to consumers in Brazil and Mexico and hope to see this platform grow into other markets.”

The Zeebo platform fosters the development and monetization of local content by preventing piracy through fast and convenient shopping via secure 3G broadband wireless cellular connectivity and over-the-air delivery. Connectivity is provided pre-activated for the system, and the consumer does not have to sign up for any additional service plan or contract. Content delivery and user interface software updates occur over the wireless network and are completely transparent to the customer. They simply plug the Zeebo into their television set and the system automatically connects to the ZeeboNet Wireless Network.

For more information on the Zeebo 3G digital gaming, entertainment, and educational platform, please visit .

About G-Mode Co. Ltd.

To date, G-mode (A Mobile Content and Distribution Company) has released over 1700 games to consumers worldwide. G-mode also holds the rights to the Data East Catalogue since aqcuiring the properties in 2004. (http://www.dataeastgames.com)

About Zeebo
Zeebo, Inc., a closely held company based in San Diego, California, has developed the Zeebo, a 3G wireless system to deliver digital gaming, entertainment and education to the next billion consumers in emerging global markets. Primary shareholders in Zeebo include wireless technology leader Qualcomm and Tectoy SA, which pioneered the introduction of digital gaming in Brazil.

☆☆☆☆☆ 50% Off Launch Celebration ☆☆☆☆☆

In 1984 Data East released what was the most cinematic and immersive gaming experience the world had ever seen, an arcade machine called Cobra Command that featured movie-like visuals and surround sound that were years ahead of their time, to put you in the pilots seat of a futuristic attack helicopter.

Now 25 years on Revolutionary Concepts and licensor G-mode bring that same game in all it’s glory to the iPhone and iPod Touch!

Better yet, the addition of touch screen controls, tilt steering, enhanced h.264 widescreen video, vastly improved graphics and online scoring, makes for a game unlike anything you’ve likely ever experienced.

Incredibly this is only possible on the iPhone and iPod Touch and not todays most powerful gaming consoles.

———————

Cobra Command for iPhone & iPod Touch.

The world is under attack and you are in command of the most awesome combat machine ever designed! Armed with sophisticated weaponry your ultra modern Cobra Attack Chopper will take you through 10 dangerous missions ranging from New York, to the Pacific Ocean, the Middle East, and everything in between.

In your quest you will find you are engaged in combat with a seemingly never-ending stream of enemy combatants, who will throw everything they have at you including helicopters, jets, bombers, tanks, ships, gun emplacements and rocket launchers, with more than a few surprises along the way.

While you view the action from the relative comfort of your cockpit, you engage each of these enemies on a kill or be killed basis. ☠

———————

Get ready for the ride of your life!
Not for the faint hearted, Cobra Command will redefine your idea of what is possible on the iPhone. But remember, saving the world wasn’t meant to be easy, and only the best will survive

Note: In the screens below we feel it important to point out that what you are seeing are actual in-game captures of real full motion animated action. These aren’t static backdrops.
Seatbelt and/or airsick bags not supplied

Originally released in 1984 by acclaimed Japanese arcade games company Data East ‘Cobra Command’ combined theuse of hollywood-quality full motion video and surround sound, (the then leading-edge) Laser Disc technology, and overlaid computer generated graphics, to create a first of it’s kind interactive experience which saw you the player flying a state of the art futuristic combat helicopter across ten wide-ranging action-packed levels.

Whether flying down the streets of New York City, engaging enemy pilots over the pacific, destroying tanks on Easter Island, weaving through the Grand Canyon, or navigating the gun-lined corridors of the terrorists secret fortress, the result was for most of us who were around at the time an absolutely jaw-dropping display that hinted at the future of videogames. 25 years on and we’re delighted to be able to announce it’s back! Bigger, badder, and better than ever!

iPhone Developer and Games Publisher ‘Revolutionary Concepts’ in conjunction with G-mode of Japan (owner and licensor of the Data East library of titles) has worked tirelessly to bring this seminal arcade classic to the iPhone and iPod Touch in all it’s glory. Not only recreated, but improved to take full advantage of the kind of features only now possible thanks to the technology available via the iPhone and iPod Touch.

Cobra Command (for iPhone & iPod Touch) features:

Full motion widescreen video, fully restored and presented in H.264 running at 60 frames per second.

Vastly superior graphics and effects to match the on-screen action. Including an all new Cockpit, guns, missiles, and sound effects.

Redesigned precision analog controls with multi-touch support.

Accelerometer-based tilt steering! You really are in command of the worlds most awesome combat machine.

Instantaneous seek time, providing a seamless experience where on on-screen action unfolds uninterrupted in real time.

Unlockable Bonuses. Including Arcade Classic, and Expert Modes.

Cobra Command is currently in play-testing being polished and on track for release in the app-store this November, with the following screens provided as an indication of actual in-game play.
